1.12.2011 Swedish railcar SJ class Y7 no.1212 returns to the NVR, having been rescued from static display and put into working order by Northumbria Rail Group. I scanned some photos for NVR archives of this vehicle when it was here in the 1980s. Its livery then was cream and reddish-orange. At some 50 seats it should provide an economic, useful, and unique form of transport, being the only preserved Swedish railcar in UK.
Also- cosmetic restoration of SJ 4-6-0 no.101 is now complete.
7.12.2011 The civil engineers train in Wansford yard featuring the unique preserved TASC machine, also the as-new brake van recently brought into service. The Sentinel diesel at the head of the train.
10.12.2011 Thomas ,73050, and night scenes.
